Polyurethan and Water Based Varnishes
This floor sealing product is becoming increasingly popular and advanced over time, due to its hard wearing qualities and fast drying properties. This significantly shortens the time necessary to finish floors and therefore enables us to offer competitive prices alongside of jobs where other types of finish are employed.
Application: 3 coats (recommended)
Benefits: Drying takes up to 2 hours after last coat has been applied, furniture can go back in place within 12 hours; excellent durability;
Disadvantages: floors will need complete resanding and refinishing once varnish gets worn out, usually in heavy-duty foot-traffic areas;
Oiling & Waxing
This floor sealing product is becoming increasingly popular and advanced over time, due to its hard wearing qualities and fast drying properties. This significantly shortens the time necessary to finish floors and therefore enables us to offer competitive prices alongside of jobs where other types of finish are employed.
Application: 2 coats recommended
Benefits: Easily re-applied by buffing at anytime to maintain uniform overall oil/wax wear;
Disadvantages: Single coats take minimum 6 hours to completely dry each; decent durability with regular maintenance;
