| Bona Carls Deck Oil 5L |
Bona’s protection for outdoor decks is now available in an improved formula. To highlight the new formula and to be a part of the Bona range, Carl’s Deck Oil is renamed Bona Deck Oil. It keeps decks looking as good as new, all year round, now with an improved durability. The new Bona Deck Oil also avoids the harmful additives most other oils use.
Outdoor decks are constantly exposed to the elements. Rain, snow and sun cause irreparable damage. A deck is a costly investment for owners, and as such demands proper care to maintain it throughout the years. Professionals need to have an effective and safe solution to offer their customers. Bona Deck Oil gives them this solution with the security of Bona’s established reliability behind it.
The oil works by penetrating deep into the wood to create a protective barrier. With a high solid content of 35%, water and dirt are repelled before they get the chance to damage the deck. The oil also contains special UV-filters that block harmful UV radiation from the sun that has been known to degrade wood. And the oil nurtures and enhances the deck, leaving a beautiful surface that lasts the whole summer season. It is easy to apply and dries quickly.
Bona Deck Oil does all this without the use of cobalt – a heavy metal used by most other oils as a drying agent. Cobalt has been classified as a carcinogen by the EU. The oil also avoids the use of fungicides as they are a health hazard, particularly to children and pets.
The new deck oil, which comes in 1 and 5 litre cans, provides the best results when used together with Bona Soap. The cleaner is ideally suited for oiled wooden floors. It is slightly alkaline and washes away dirt while being gentle on the wood itself. That means the protective natural oils in the wood are not lost in the cleaning process. The deck is left in ideal condition for being oiled. |

| Osmo Polyx-Oil Rapid Hardwax-Oil 2.5 L Matt Finish (3262) |
The Osmo Polyx-Oil Rapid is a professional, clear, fast drying, matt finish oil for all wooden floors (solid wood floors, laminated flooring, oriented strand-board etc.). Can be used on cork floors, terracotta and other unglazed tiles. It is also well suited for the treatment of furniture surfaces (i. e. table tops).
The Osmo Polyx-Oil Rapid surface is extremely tough and hard-wearing. It is water-repellent and dirt-resistant. The finish is resistant against wine, beer, cola, coffee, tea, fruit juices, milk and water etc.
Dirt can easily be removed without trace. Renovating, even partially, is easy. Just clean and re-treat worn areas: No sanding, no repair marks, no removal of previous Polyx-Oil finish.
The wear resistance of floors treated with Osmo Polyx-Oil even exceeds that of conventional parquet seals and varnishes.
Osmo Polyx-Oil Rapid is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. It is micro-porous and does not crack, flake, peel or blister. Therefore it is an ideal treatment even in rooms with high humidity.
Osmo Polyx-Oil Rapid is very easy to apply: Only two thin coats no primer!). The short drying time allows both coats within one day. It is of a creamy consistence (thixotropic). The satin-matt sheen can be intensified by slight polishing. Grain and texture of the wood are accentuated.
A wooden floor which has been treated with Osmo Polyx-Oil will become more beautiful and valuable with age.
Product based on natural oil and wax
Osmo Polyx®-Oil Rapid is based on natural vegetable oils and waxes. Natural oils and waxes penetrate deeply into the wood, keeping it elastic and healthy, and preventing it from getting dry and brittle. The wood is allowed to breathe. Moisture can evaporate. Shrinking and swelling are reduced.
Health and environment
Osmo Polyx®-Oil Rapid does not contain biocides nor preservatives. It is safe for man, animal and plant when dry and complies with German DIN 53160 (fast to perspiration and saliva) and EURO-NORM EN 71 (suitable for children’s toys). |
