A unique, single coat, fast setting, silane-based moisture barrier. Water and solvent-free, Bona R580 is designed to treat damp sub floors prior to the installation of wood flooring using Bona silane-based adhesives. Bona R580 can be used as a 2-component system with water to gain an even shorter setting time. Easy trowel application.

Bona R580 is also compatible with Bona H650 levelling compound. Quartz sand must be broadcast into wet Bona R580 before the application of the levelling compound.

Bona R580 is fully compatible with Bona adhesives R850, R845 and R860 which can be applied directly to the moisture barrier.

NOTE: Bona R580 cannot be used where bitumen is present.

Bona H650 is a rapid drying and hardening self-levelling and smoothing compound specifically designed for areas where speed is essential for rapid renovation and repair work prior to using Bona R850. It has ultra rapid drying properties and can be covered after approximately 1.5hrs

For thickness greater than 5mm, additional time should be allowed

If other adhesives are used, the minimum drying time is 24hrs

Bona D550 is a one-component dispersion-based primer for the preparation of substrates prior to the use of Bona H650 self-levelling compound. It is recommended for use on Calcium Sulphate screed, chipboard and cement based substrates.

Bona D500 is a waterborne primer designed for the preparation of substrates prior to the application of adhesive. The substrate is improved by binding residual dust and reducing the absorbency of the subflooor, therefore aiding adhesive application. D500 must be diluted 1:1 with water prior to application by brush or roller.

NOTE: If Bona R850 adhesive is to be used, Bona R410 should be used instead of Bona D500.

A solvent and water free, two-component epoxy resin, suitable for damp proofing concrete or sand/cement subfloors, or for use as a primer prior to the application of a suitable adhesive or levelling compound. R410 can be used in conjunction with Bona R770 and R850 without additional preparation of the subfloor. For damp proofing concerete (sand/cement screeds) up to 5% moisture (CM) or 98% (R.H.), a two coat system is required. Application should be made with brush ort roller. Bona adhesives R845 and R860 can also be applied directly to Bona R410.

NOTE: When used as a primer, a single coat should be applied. When used as a DPM, two coats should be applied.

Recoat time: 2-3hrs.

A two-component, polyurethane adhesive for the installation of wooden flooring. R770 is free from water and organic solvents and is ideal for moisture sensitive timber species. This versatile adhesive can be used on many different types of substrate (including non-absorbent) including: concrete floors, plywood and chipboard, cementitious screeds, anhydrite screeds, levelling compounds (at least 2mm thick), mastic asphalt and non absorbent surfaces such as ceramic tiles, metal etc and floors trated with Bona R410 liquid damp proof membrane.
